This Privacy Policy explains how Renewables Warehouse handles information collected through its marketing website and enquiry form. The website does not process online orders, payments, training or e-learning.

When you submit an enquiry, we may collect:

  • optional supporting images; and
  • information about how you reached and used our website.

Website and campaign information may include:

  • Google Analytics identifiers;
  • Google Click Identifier, or GCLID;
  • Facebook Click Identifier, or FBCLID; and
  • cookie or advertising identifiers.

Please do not include payment information, identity documents, sensitive information or unnecessary information about other people in an enquiry or attachment.

2. How we use information

We use this information to:

  • review and respond to enquiries;
  • provide requested information;
  • direct enquiries to the appropriate team or office;
  • maintain records of our communications;
  • operate, secure and improve the website;
  • understand website traffic and usage;
  • measure advertising performance;
  • identify which campaigns generate enquiries; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically add you to a general marketing mailing list.

  • Microsoft Clarity to understand website navigation and usability;

Information may be processed outside Australia, including through our overseas offices or the global systems operated by our technology providers.

We do not sell information submitted through the enquiry form.

5. Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access or disclosure.

No website or electronic storage system is completely secure. You should not submit highly confidential or sensitive information through the enquiry form.

We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably required to respond to the enquiry, maintain business records, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal requirements.

Information that is no longer required may be deleted or de-identified.

Renewables Warehouse currently considers that it is exempt from the mandatory Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. We may nevertheless investigate and respond to security incidents where appropriate.

6. Access, correction and complaints

  • ask us to correct inaccurate information; or
  • make a complaint about how we have handled your information.

We may ask you to verify your identity before responding.

We aim to acknowledge privacy complaints within five business days and provide a response within 30 days.

Information about Australian privacy rights and complaints is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. The OAIC may not have jurisdiction where a Privacy Act exemption applies.
